Create a poster using one google slide that discusses the importance of getting vaccinated. Your poster should be convincing. It should include pictures.

 

Pick a Vaccine that many people should get: 

• Flu vaccine

• HPV vaccine

• Measles, Mumps and Rubella Vaccine

• Pneumonia Vaccine

• Hepatitis B Vaccine

 

Include the answers to the following questions on your poster:

1. Doctors recommend that parents get their children vaccinated before entering school for the first time.  Why is it important for children to get their vaccines before entering school?

2. Why are some vaccines recommended to get annually and not others? [Think about the Flu shot]  

3. How does the immune system help your body to maintain homeostasis? In your answer, be sure to:

• Identify what substance is in a vaccine that stimulates immunity.

• State how the human immune system reacts to the vaccine.

• State one reason why the vaccine does not protect a person from other viral diseases.
