Community Research:

Compare organic products found in grocery stores found in the neighborhood of the students compared to the schools neighborhood (Chelsea).

Categorize grocery store based on size.

Students can identify how many grocery stores (categorized) within 5 block radius of their home

Collect data, # of organic products in certain size grocery store
Scientific Research:

Test presence of pesticides in organic vs non-organic products.
-
Preservative content in foods using fluorescent microscopy.

Determine if products are GMO
